Contraindications
Lymphatic drainage and relaxing lymphatic massage are not recommended in the presence of certain health conditions: acute infections (viral or bacterial), fever, acute venous thrombosis or phlebitis, untreated hypertension, severe heart, lung, liver, or kidney diseases, pregnancy (especially in the first trimester), skin problems (purulent wounds, inflammations), and active oncological diseases.
