My Approach

In my practice, I focus on manual body treatments, where sensitive work of the hands and respect for the individual needs of each client play a fundamental role.

I specialize in the treatment and stimulation of the lymphatic system. Manual lymphatic drainage is a gentle and effective technique that stimulates lymph flow, helps reduce swelling and fluid retention, relieves the sensation of heavy legs, eases pain and tension, supports the body’s natural detoxification processes, and has a pronounced relaxing effect. It is indicated in cases of swelling, lymphedema, lipedema, after injuries and surgical procedures, in the presence of cellulite, as support for post-sport recovery, and to improve lymphatic circulation and the appearance of the skin. The treatment can be focused on the legs, face and décolleté, abdomen, arms and chest, back and neck.
Lymphatic drainage is not recommended in cases of acute infections, fever, thrombosis, untreated hypertension, heart failure, oncological diseases, or edema related to heart, kidney, or liver conditions.

Part of my approach includes manual therapy techniques focused on treating the skin, subcutaneous tissue, muscles, fascia, ligaments, tendons, and joints. The aim is to gradually support the body in returning to its natural function: relieving musculoskeletal pain, promoting healing, and restoring mobility after injuries and surgical procedures. In my practice, I primarily use mobilization techniques according to Prof. Karel Lewit. Additionally, I draw on knowledge gained from studying traditional Chinese medicine, individually complementing therapy with pressure massage of acupuncture points and meridians.

My work also incorporates principles of developmental kinesiology, where I use positions and transitions to mobilize soft tissues and joints. If needed, therapy can be supplemented with an active component—exercises within developmental sequences can help improve overall mobility and stability and may also be suitable for independent home practice between therapy sessions.

Why is Manual Therapy Fundamental for Me?

Because touch is able to perceive even subtle changes in the tissues that are not immediately visible and allows for precise response to the body’s current condition—by adjusting the intensity of pressure, the direction of traction, and the duration of the treatment. This is also because no device can replace the warm, gentle, yet precise human touch. And because manual techniques make it possible to restore mobility, release functional dysfunctions, relieve pain, and support the body’s natural capacity for regeneration.
